Organizational Values
Organizational values provide direction on the way in which an organization achieves its objectives.
Thus an organization which has very clear objectives without explicit values is in danger of encouraging staff to use any methods they choose to achieve goals. A lack of clear values can lead to ethical problems for the organization and a lack of pride in their company by employees with consequent motivational problems.
The establishment of organizational values and beliefs is part of establishing the culture of the organization, and should be addressed as part of Strategic Planning or Policy Deployment.
