Quality Cost And Supply Management
Quality Cost and Supply represent the three most important areas for improvement in cross-functional management. Note that in this context Supply means the responsiveness, cycletime and predictability in the supply of product or services.
While the main functions of a business such as engineering or manufacturing may be managed vertically in a traditional organization structure, cross-functional teams will also be set up to manage Quality, Cost and supply issues as product moves through the system and transitions from one function to another before reaching the customer.
